About Us

Hi, I’m John Pratt. For more than 60 years, the outdoorshas been at the heart of my life. I’ve spent countless dayshunting, fishing, kayaking, and photographing wildlife —but what makes those experiences truly meaningful issharing them with the people I care about. My family and friends have been by my side throughearly‑morning hunts, long days on the water, and quietevenings in the woods. The memories we’ve made togetherin nature are some of my most treasured. The outdoorsisn’t just my passion — it’s the place where myrelationships have grown, strengthened, and found theirhappiest moments. (Below is an excerpt from my favorite Poem)

Call of the Wild

Have you suffered, starved and triumphed,

groveled down, yet grasped at glory,

Grown bigger in the bigness of the whole?

"Done things" just for the doing,

 letting babblers tell the story,

Seeing through the nice veneer the naked soul?

Have you seen God in His splendors,

heard the text that nature renders?

(You'll never hear it in the family pew.)

The simple things, the true things,

the silent men who do things

--Then listen to the Wild -- it's calling you
